Rosie and I have just completed our first year of running Pear Tree House. We can’t quite believe it, the year has absolutely raced by. It’s been a lot of hard work but we have thoroughly enjoyed it, and most importantly, we are still speaking to one another!
In our first year we let 37 weeks out of 52 which feels like a good start. A huge thank you to everyone who stayed, you are at the very heart of our business. Thank you for the lovely things you have said and the helpful feedback you have provided. Where possible we have endeavoured to implement your suggestions. We are especially thrilled that some of you have already stayed more than once and many more are planning to return again next year.
On 5th July we were awarded ‘Superhost status’ by Airbnb for achieving a 5.0 Star rating, 0.0% Cancellation rate and a 100% Response rate. We were delighted with this and will work hard to maintain our rating which is reviewed quarterly. We don’t intend to rest on our laurels and are continually trying to improve the property and the quality of the visitor experience for our guests. We are looking forward to the year ahead and very much hope we can welcome you to Pear Tree House in the near future.
