We’ve visited Fox Cottage for a few years now as there is so much to do in the area. Every time we come we find a new walk or new restaurant as well as visiting old favourites. Helmsley is very dog friendly – our dog loves it...
We were understandably anxious when we heard that Fox Cottage had been taken over by new owners but Jo has thoughtfully and respectfully renovated throughout to a very high standard. She has been successful in keeping the character and charm we love. We will miss sitting in the garden listening to the church chimes watching birds nesting in the wall after beautiful walks. Despite being in a town, after 10pm you hear nothing. Sleep in very comfortable beds comes easy!
